All practice matches will be held with emphasis on the upcoming matches or training*. You should not have to fire any more than 10 rounds per yard line in order to find out what you need to use for your elevation and windage for that particular yard line.

Long Range High-Power Palma Match
Location: Adair Park Big Bore Range, 18 miles northeast of the city of Yuma, Arizona
Firing Time: Firing commences at 7:30 AM, on Sunday, March 18, 2012
Rules: Current NRA high-power rules will apply
Categories: Civilian, Service, Women, Men, and Juniors
Classification: NRA High-Power
Entries: Make entries on SR-1 Registration/Entry Card with proper fees, payable to Yuma Rifle and Pistol at the
range.
Entry Limit: Entries limited to 18 competitors
Fees: Entry fee - $20.00 per adult and $10.00 per Junior
Challenge fees are a $2.00 and are refunded if won
Squadding: Firing point and relay assignment will be made on the range at sign up
Target Service: Target service will be done by competitors. A limited number of target pullers may be available if
notified in advance of need.
Firearms: Any *safe, center fired high-powered firearm, match rifle or service rifle
Course of Fire: Each competitor will fire fifteen (15) rounds for score after unlimited sighters at the 800 yard line. Two
(2) rounds for sighters and fifteen (15) for score at the 900 yard line and the same for the 1,000 yard
line. There will be a time limit of twenty (22) minutes per yard line.
(additionaly 2 minutes are given to get your gear on the firing line and an additional 3 minutes given for preparation time)
* There are some rifles usually with short barrels, such as carbines; or ammunition with not enough velocity to reach the target at 1,000 yards safely, falling short and therefore unsafe for all. These rifles are determined unsafe to shoot at the long ranges we normally shoot.
Awards: Winning competitors in each class and category will receive an award, of which there must be a minimum
of four shooters per category, in order to have an award given.

Match 3 - 300 yds, Prone Rapid Fire, 2 sighters, 2 ten shot strings of rapid fire, 70 seconds per string,
using an SR-3 Target
Match 4 - 600 yds, Prone Slow Fire, 2 sighters, 20 slow fire shots for record, in a time limit of 22 minutes,
using MR-1 Target
Match 5 - the Rapid Fire Aggregate a total of matches 2 and 3
Match 6 - the Slow Fire Aggregate a total of matches 1 and 4
Match 7 - the Grand Aggregate a total of matches 5 and 6
(additionally, per course of fire, there will be 2 minutes to put your gear on the firing line and an additional 3 minutes of preparation time)
